All The Details Of Mikel Obi’s Trabzonspor Deal

***Moves to Turkish league in a two years plus one deal

Mikel Obi, the captain of the Nigerian Super Eagles has joined Turkish faint Trabzonspor.
Obi, a free agent joined in a two year deal that will last until 2021, with an option to extend the stay by one year.
Currently at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), Obi will move to Turkey at the end of the tournament or on the exit of Nigeria.
He will joins compatriots Ogenyi Onazi and Anthony Nwakaeme at the Medical Park Arena, as they try to win the 2019/20 Turkish league and UEFA second tier championship when the season kicksoff.
Recall the former Chelsea midfielder spent the second half of the 2018-19 season at English Championship side Middlesbrough where he scored once in 18 appearances for the club.
“A two plus one year agreement was signed with the free captain of the Nigerian National Team, Professional Footballer John Mikel Obi, with one-year option to transfer to our club.” The club said on their official website.
32-years-old Obi, was seriously link with a move to Norwich City before he signed for the Turkish side.
