The social scene is mourning following the death of Rasheed Shitta-Bey, the owner of popular Jabita Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos Sate.
Shitta-Bey passed on at the age of 83, in his hotel on Tuesday, February 13, after a brief illness. Many would remember him, as a jolly socialite who enjoyed life.
Indeed, the social scene would miss the man who was notable for his unique ways of bringing together some of the most popular socialites and musicians in a comfortable ambience.
