Actors Disagree With AGN President Over BBN Comment

At least three actors have condemned Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigerian (AGN) for his comment about Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemates.

Recall that Rollas had taken to his Instagram handle to state that Nollywood is not a dumping ground for evicted BBN housemates.

He wrote: “Nollywood! Not a dumping ground for evictees!!! Case closed.”

His comment came just after the eviction of Tega, Boma, Michael, and  Peace.

Reacting to the comment by Rollas, Bolanle Ninalowo disagreed with the leader of the guild as he took to Instagram to post his opinion.

Ninalowo wrote:

“This one hit me hard! Oga @emekarollas you wrong for this one baba!!! Abeg who is Nollywood for? Maka needs to be enlightened. ”

Chioma Omeruah, popular as Chigurl, agreed with Ninalowo as she wrote: “Yo… I wanted to ask.”

Another actress who appears to have disagreed with Rollas is Mary Remmy Njoku.

Reacting to his post, Njoku said that the movie industry is a home for all as it has saved many who were unemployed. According to her, many would have committed suicide if not for the industry.
