After initially debunking news of the demise of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, has returned to confirmed the passing of actor.
Junior Pope whose real name is Pope Obumneme Odonwodo passed on along three other actors in a boat mishap that occurred yesterday, Wednesday, April 10.
In a post shared on his Instagram page in the early hours of today, Rollas who late last night refuted reports of the actor’s death, insisting that he is alive and received treatment in a hospital said that the body of one other crew member has been found while the bodies of three other crew members are still missing.
Rollas wrote, “AGN President, Emeka Rollas confirms the passing of actor Jnr Pope, says the body of one crew member has been found while three others are still missing.”
