It is not every day that a bank’s Chief Executive is showered with praises.
This is as tales of bank executives who have liquidated their financial institutions have been heard.
However, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Bank, Segun Agbaje is not one of them.
In fact, Agbaje is in a class of his own as far as managing his financial institution is concerned. At the 31st Annual General Meeting which recently held in Lagos, it was a shower of praises for him from shareholders.
According to the shareholders, Agbaje was able to lead the bank to a greater height, recording an increase in all performance indicators despite the challenging operating environment that prevailed in 2020.
