All is now set for The Church of Evangelism annual congress thanksgiving and dedication of Healing Camp.
The week long event which is aimed at praying for peace and dedicating the church will kick off on the first week of November with the grand finale which takes place on Saturday 8 of November at the church auditorium, The Healing Camp, Awoyaya,Lekki/ Epe Express way,Lagos.
According to the statement reaching us, the programme will commenced with a football match on Tuesday then follow with a service of songs on Thursday before the grand finale climax the week long event.
The General Overseer of the church, Reverend Edith Okubanjo,explained to news men that the annual congress would also be focused on bringing revival,healing and deliverance in the state.
Rev Okubanjo said some prominent men and women of God were expected at the great event,which will be the best of its kind in Lagos. She stated that the peace that had been existing in the state several years back was divine,hence the need to appreciate God and pray for his mercy upon the church and the state. She however charged Christains to always pray for the successs of the congress as prayer is the master key for any activity or programme,stressing that no christian should be left behind,before and during the congress. Popular gospel artiste expected is Opelope Anoiting exponent among other gospel artistes
