The 20th anniversary of 2Baba on stage has not lived up to expectations.
Detailing the events that would herald the celebration three months ago, the singer revealed that it would span the whole of the year.
According to him, events for the celebration would include the launch of his autobiography, a documentary on how he has impacted Afro-beat music in Nigeria and beyond, an album lunch, club tours, charity works, a music concert, and a movie premiere.
Several months down the line, the events to celebrate the anniversary have been just a handful.
Currently on a tour of America with his movie ‘Power of One,’ the other aspects of the celebration appear to have been forgotten with nothing being hear about an album in the works or a documentary being shot. What is happening to 2Baba?
