With the 2019 election approaching, politicians are strategizing.

One person who is obviously strategizing is the Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

Amosun has picked House of Representative member and husband of former MBGN, Chinenye Ochuba, Kunle Akinlade, as his successor.

Akinlade will now fly the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship flag of the state in the 2019 election.

49-year-old Akinlade who represents Egbado South and Ipokia Federal Constituency of Ogun State, was adopted as the consensus candidate of the APC by the Ogun West Elders this morning, after hours of meeting in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of the state.

Officially, Akinlade is the individual who will represent Ogun West in the race for who becomes the next governor in the 2019 election.
