The road of the Nigeria’s Basketball team, D’Tigers, has come to an end in the ongoing Rio Olympics.
D’Tigers crashed out of the 2016 Rio Olympics after losing 86-69 to host nation Brazil. The loss is the teams’ fourth since the games began.
Prior to the game against Brazil, they had lost to Argentina, Spain and Lithuania. In the Brazilian game, hopes were high, as Nigeria won the first quarter 16-15, but lost the next three quarters despite all efforts put in by the Nigerians.
