This explains the bond between two powerful society women, Barrister Ada Ebubedike Akpunonu and Hajia Bola Muse, the boss of Bomarah Group.
Akpunonu and Muse are two influential society women whose paths crossed in the maritime sector. Ada, a lawyer cum freight forwarder is currently the Vice President of the Association of Nigeria Customs Licensed Agents (ANLCA) at Tincan Ports, while Bola also holds a prominent position in the association.
Though, they are active players in the field with proven track records, they have never allowed their individual achievements affect their relationship egoistically. Since they came to know each other, they have remained inseparable, not minding their different backgrounds.
Ada is an indigene of Anambra State while Bola hails from Oyo State. But regardless of their ethnicity, their friendship has become a sort of envy in the social circle as they always do things mutually. Apart from living in the same vicinity, the two ebullient friends share almost the same fashion items together; be it bags, shoes, clothes, jewelries or hairstyle, name it. And hardly would you find one without the other at a society gathering, as they are like siamese twins.
To further prove their friendship beyond doubt, the two friends recently, collectively took their families on vacation to Dubai, spending over two weeks in one of the best hotels in the country. This happened few days after the hardworking women were equally decorated with the “Best Female Freight Forwarder of the Year Award”.
Apart from their friendship that has made them become a force to reckon with in the society, the maritime amazons have also positively empowered many less privileged with their charitable empowerment schemes.
