Alhaji Muazu Brahji, the Director of Human Resources at Yobe State Ministry of Health has died.
Alhaji Brahjiat died at the state specialist hospital isolation centre in Damaturu.
Confirming his death, his brother Yau Ubaliyo Abubakar stated that Brahji died after being taken to the isolation facility on Tuesday, May 5.
Further, he revealed that the deceased died while awaiting the result of the Coronavirus test conducted on him.
Yobe is believed to be one of the states without a testing centre for COVID-19. According to reports, most of the samples collected are taken to either Abuja or Borno for testing.
