Yet Another Failed Dream For Timi Alaibe

Not all dreams come to fruition, some simply end up as what they are, a mere dream.
However, this does not appear to be a fact with Timi Alaibe, the former Director-General of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), hence his struggle to upset Governor Duoye Diri’s apple cart has been consistent.
Alaibe once had a dream of being the Governor of Bayelsa State, but it hit the rocks when he lost to Douye Diri in the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Seeking to upturn the judgment of both a High Court and that of the Appeal Court where he challenged Diri’s emergence as PDP’s candidate in the gubernatorial election of November 2019, Alaibe suffered another blow, as the apex court dismissed his appeal leaving him no other alternative.
