The death of a spouse is considered by many as the loss of half a life time.

Ask Professor Taoheed Adedoja, former Minister of Sports and Youth Development and he will confirm this.

This many people also say is the reason why it took the man seven years to overcome his loss before thinking of marriage again.

Perhaps to find a companion as old age catches up with him, Professor Adedoja who is currently in his early 60s recently got married to Jemila Tukur, one of the daughters of Alhaji Bamangar Tukur, former National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The event took place at the BMT Africa Garden Mosque in Abuja.

The event was celebrated with a lunch at Victoria Island in Lagos on May 19 before the `Nikkah’ ceremony in Abuja.
