Barry Jhay has revealed he turned down an offer to be signed on Davido’s DMW.
The artiste revealed he feared the competition on the label, hence he walked away from the deal.
“I feared the competition on DMW, so many people there.”
He, however, maintains that DMW is his family any day, adding that Davido is his father figure in the music industry.
“I am loyal to Davido for life. He has thought me a lot of things, I live with the examples and I survive with it. OBO has been a father, he is much more than what people see him to be, he is an icon, he has gotten a big heart.”
Now signed to Cash Nation Entertainment, the artiste is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Melanin.’
