Presently, Ruggedman may not be too popular in the music industry, but he is still there.
The artiste has been making some noise about his label, Rugged Records, in recent times.
In a chat with www.theoctopusnews.com, he said: “The good thing about owning your own record label is that you get to make all the decisions yourself.”
On how it all started, Ruggedman said: “I didn’t just set out to start my own label; I tried working with other labels, but it just didn’t work, as they were just holding me back.”
He also said his relationship with Wande Coal was gingered by a desire to forge professional ties.
“I have always wanted to do a song with him and when the opportunity came with the song Agidi I just took it. When I heard the beat for the song, I sent it to Wande to work with and when he was done he returned it to me to do the finishing,” he concluded.
Ruggedman has just made a comeback, having been silent for a while. Riding on the new song, Agidi, the rapper is trying to regain his preeminence, but he has since not dropped another song.
