Less than three weeks after Waje announced that she would likely dump music, the songstress has had a change of mind.
In a video which surfaced on social media, Waje was seen lamenting how her last album titled ‘Red Velvet’ had not made the desired impact, adding that most of her resources appear to go into music with little to show for it.
In the video, the singer stated that it appeared that she would be dumping music for now, as she had other responsibilities including her daughter’s school fee.
She has now had a rethink and has decided she would not be dumping music after all. Waje took to her instastories days back to announce that an endorsement of the album by Iris rock star U2 has seen her changing her mind.
“Bono sees my album and says Waje I judge a book by its cover so you got this right! Then gives me some secret tips. So seems like this girl won’t quit music,” she said.
