Why I Apologised To Organisers Of Headies Awards-Olamide

Published

It has taken YBNL boss Olamide six months to apologise to the organisers of the Headies Award.
Recall Olamide created a scene during the last edition of the award spewing derogatory words on stage, smashing a microphone in the process and even destroyed the Green Room of the Headies, because his then artiste Lil Kesh failed to win the Next Rated Category.
Speaking during a recorded session, Olamide said thus “on behalf of YBNL, I am here to say a big sorry to the Headies crew, Hip TV crew and Mr. Ayo Animashaun himself. If not for anything, he has always being supportive from day one, actually from 2010, when Kaffy brought me to the office.”
Fans of the singer have been quick to react to the apology saying that it is a step in the right direction, especially with the way Lil Kesh dumped YBNL.
Lil Kesh to the bewilderment of the music industry opted not to renew his contract following the expiration of the initial two years and one album he signed with YBNL.
