Humblesmith, real name Ekenne Ijemba might be a new musician, but this has not stopped him from giving back to society.
The fast-rising Soul and Highlife musician has revealed that he will be giving out $2000 in a dancing competition.
The competition, which is titled Jukwese Competition will see contestants shooting the ideal video for the artiste’s latest song and upload it on Instagram.
The video with the highest number of views will be declared winner.
The competition which kicked off on Tuesday, July 5, will climax on Thursday, August 4.
Asked what motivated him, he said he just felt it was necessary to give back to the society that made him.
Humblesmith, who is signed to DG Records has been on a consistent rise in his short but highly impressive musical career. Having made his debut with the song Osinachi, he has gone on to drop another single titled Jukwese featuring Flavour. Jukwese, an Igbo word means “ask around”.
