Why Chidinma Ekile Might Not Drop Much Anticipated Album

Anyone who says that Chidinma Ekile popular as Ms. Kedike has not been under-performing musically must be living in a cave.

Chidinma, came out with so much heat when she hit the music industry, as fans were amazed and mesmerized.

The product of MTN Project Fame West Africa was just too much of an asset not to unsettle the music industry.

With her debut album self-titled ‘Chidinma’ she stole the hearts of many. The album which was released 2011 had hit songs such as ‘Kedike’, ‘Run Dia Mouth’, ‘Carry You Go’, ‘Jankoliko’ and others.

Since then, the singer has struggled to produce another album. Though she has released a string of singles and done some collaborations, the album has just refused to come.

Months back, Chidinma, released a new single titled ‘Yanga’. In an interview she talked of an album that will be multifaceted and which will unveil her like never before. After the single which was the first off the much talked about album nothing has been heard from her again.

This silence has now seen people asking if it is indeed possible that the singer will be able to drop her sophomore album in 2018.
