Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has questioned the Lagos State Government’s delay in reopening of churches on weekdays.
Oyedepo stated this during a service in Canaanland, Ogun state on Sunday, August 16.
He expressed surprise that churches in the northern part of Nigeria operate on weekdays except in Lagos.
The man of God stated that since there was no outbreak of coronavirus in the state after the resumption of schools for transitional students, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, should review his decision and do the needful.
“My sincere advice to the authority is that please, review your stand. Since the SS3 students resume, is there an outbreak?
“The churches in Kano opens about two months now, is there any outbreak? Kogi opens earlier on, any outbreak?”
Based on this position, Oyedepo urged that all churches be reopened on weekdays throughout the state.
