The death of ‘Pelepele’, a former YBNL artiste has left shock waves in the music industry.
‘Pelepele’ committed suicide having initially shot a suicide video in his friend’s house in Ikorodu, an outskirt town of Lagos State.
Findings have however revealed that the mentee of Olamide killed himself following his inability to cut it into the A-list of the Nigerian music industry.
A video in which the artiste had explained the reason for his suicide surfaced after his death, and in the clips, he was heard saying that if the video goes public, it means that he is already dead.
He committed suicide a week after he shared an emotional video online talking about how depressed he was over his inability to fully break into the music industry despite putting in 10 years of work.
