The high level of insecurity in the country has seen 1000 Islamic clerics gathering in Kaduna for prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari.
They prayed for God to intervene in areas such as kidnapping, robbery, and ethnic violence, as they seek the intervention of God to prevent the death of innocent souls.
The clerics also prayed to God to guide President Muhammadu Buhari in ending the insecurity and the activities of Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria before he leaves office in 2023.
The level of kidnapping has become an issue in the country with several fingers pointed at herdmen.
