There Are Too Many Record Labels In Nigeria – Franklin

Made Men Music Group (MMMG) label boss, Ubi Franklin, says there are too many record labels in Nigeria.
Speaking during an interview with www.theoctopusnews.com, Franklin revealed that the implication of too many record labels in the country is that it weakens the music industry.
According to him, for the industry to be stronger there have to be fewer record labels and they must be properly structured.
Further, Franklin revealed that if he had his way, the whole industry will only have about 10 record labels and they will all be strong. He emphasised the presence of many record labels in the industry stating that most of them could hardly operate properly. Franklin said that such situation won’t help the growth of the music industry.
