That Passion Of Shina Peller

“The best remedy to a bad temper is a long walk.”

Indeed, this is true, as over the years, this theory has proven a good antidote to tackling anger.

While a lot of people can connect with the above quote by French moralist and essayist, Joseph Joubert, there are those who appear not to be able to identify with it.

One of such individuals is fair-complexioned politician and the lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency in Oyo State.

Often described as an amiable man, Peller’s other side came to the fore recently when he walked out on plenary under the leadership of Deputy Speaker, Idris Wase for denying him the opportunity to speak on the issue of the EndSARS protest.

According to Peller, not even the Speaker has the right to deny the people he represents the privilege of being heard.

While some people have described Peller’s action as being passionate, there are those who hold the opinion that he went too far.
