The makeup industry in Nigeria has never known persons astute in their job as the duo of Banke Meshida-Lawal and Tara Fela-Durotoye.
While Meshida-Lawal is popular with the brand name BM-Pro, Tara Fela-Durotoye is the brain behind House of Tara.
They have made up some of the most beautiful faces both celebrities and low profile personalities alike.
The number of persons who have however trained under them and turned big brands remain a different story altogether.
Recently, however, when it was time to separate the women from the girls, Meshida-Lawal added another feather to her proverbial cap, as she added to her trailing-blazing record by emerging the governor of the newly created Make Up Artistes Guild of Nigeria (MAGN).
Some say she beat Fela-Durotoye to the title despite the fact that the former met the later in the industry.
