The fraud  trial of Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, will continue on Tuesday, October 22.

Earlier fixed for Monday, October 21, the trail was shifted following the failure of the court to sit despite both the defence and prosecution counsel being in the court.

Naira Marley is facing charges of fraud brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He was arrested by the EFCC in May, accused of conniving with one Yad Isril (at large) to use Access card issued to other persons in a bid to obtain gain, an offence contrary to Section 27(1) (b) of the Cybercrime Prohibition, Prevention Act 2015.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos granted him bail in the sum of N2 million with sureties in like sum on May 31.

He was eventually released after spending 14 days in custody.
