Raskimono’s Burial: Cobhams Asuquo Slams New Generation Act

Award winning producer, Cobhams Asuquo, has condemned young generation artistes for their absence at the burial of reggae legend, Ras Kimono.

Ras Kimono, who died on Sunday, June 10, was buried inOnicha Olona, Asaba, Delta State on Saturday, August 25.

Reacting to the absence of the new generation musicians all though his burial process, Asuquo said the absence of these acts was a reflection of the current society we live in, saying that we are quick to move on. The producer added that while he is not saying people should hold on to the dead, he noted that we are just too quick to move on, as we don’t get to celebrate the dead. Extolling Kimono, Asuquo described him, as a good man.
