Controversial musician, Naira Marley is observing the Muslim fast.
Since the fast began, the ‘Soapy’ singer whose real name is Azeez Fashola has been heeding the teaching of the Holy Quran.
Known for his lewd lyrics, he appears to have been curbed by the Ramadan fasting, as his vulgar opinions have been reduced.
Going out of character, he took to the social media to explain the dictates of fasting, adding that it goes beyond not eating and drinking.
In a post on Twitter, Naira Marley said: “Fasting is only 1% of not eating and drinking, the rest of the 99% is bringing your heart and soul closer to Allah.”
