Justice (Mrs) K. A. Jose, of an Ikeja High Court of Lagos State, has ordered a firm, Godmade Homes Limited (a ganishee) to appear before his court on January 17, 2024, and show cause why the order nisi made against should not be made absolute.
The company, Godmade Homes Limited, was alleged to have warehoused the said N179 million, belonging to an alleged Ponzi Scheme Operator, Bamise Samson Ajetunmobi, his wife and their companies.
Justice Jose made the order, while granting an Exparte motion application filed by Ibunkunoluwa Olu-Jacobs, a Ponzi scheme operator, Bamise Samson Ajetunmobi, his wife, Elizabeth Anuoluwapo, their companies, Imagine Global Holding Company Limited and Imagine Global Solutions Limited, who are judgment debtors/respondents in the suit numbered LD/4314CMW/2021.
Other listed as judgment debtor/ respondent, is a company, IMG Intergrated Ventures Limited, joined in the suit by the order of the court made on June 7, 2022.
While the judgment creditors/applicants are: Mr. Aduvie Okoh; Mrs. Charity Chinaka Nosiri; Mrs. Vera Nyire Odu; Mrs. Nwanko Chinenye Millicent; Mr. Agbafor Monday; Dr. Deborah Oyinoluwa Tella
Mrs. Egbufor Oyenmwen Linda; Mrs, Oghenechovwe Blessing Olukunle; Mrs. Ngozi Ifeakandu Benniecynthia; Mr. Paul Chukwuemeka Davids; Mrs. Flowers Favour Modokpeaye; Mrs. Joy Ejuaye Agbada; Mrs. Esuemide-dore Augustine Atigbiolaye.

The judgment creditors/applicants have approached the court with an Exparte motion for an enrollment of order, which their lawyer, Olu-Jacobs told the court was pursuant to Section 83 (1)(2) Of The Sheriffs And Civil Process Act, Order Vlll Rule 3 of the Judgment Enforcement Rules and Order 39 Rule 4 of the High Court Of Lagos Civil Procedure Rules 2019andunder the court’s inherent jurisdiction.
Upon the moving of the application Justice Jose ruled that: “upon this motion exparte dated 9th of November, 2022 coming up before this Honourable Court.
“And upon reading through the sworn affidavit in support of the motion deposed to by Musediq Adigun-Olusi, male, adult, Muslim, Litigation Secretary of No. 31, Adeokun Street, Oworonshoki, Lagos and filed at the High Court registry, Lagos.
“And after hearing I. Olu-Jacobs of counsel for the Judgment Creditors move the court in support of the motion.
“It is Hereby Ordered that an order nisi is made to attach the funds of the 3rd Judgment Debtor in the hands of Godmade Homes Limited, the Garnishee herein for payment of the judgment debt of N175, 000, 000 in this suit.
“The order nisi is to be served on the third judgment debtor and the Garnishee. The Garnishee is thereafter to appear before this court on 17th of January, 2024 at 9:40am to show cause why the order nisi should not be made absolute.”
