A large purse and a deep pocket hardly translate to intelligence.

 

Perceived as a very intelligent man, businessman cum politician Otunba Akin Alabi has enough reasons to wear the tag.

 

A proven businessman and a published author, he is also a philanthropist of a sort.

 

However,   the man recently shocked many of his followers when his opinion on the office of the Vice President and that of the Chief of Staff attracted criticism his way.

In the wake of Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff of President Muhammadu Buhari traveling abroad to enable the president to append his signature to a bill, while Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was in the country, Alabi made a mockery of the second citizen.

 

For placing the office of the Chief of Staff ahead of that of the Vice President, posers about Alabi’s level of intelligence have been asked.

Nothing equals a pure heart. It needs no defence or retribution, as nature always fights for it.

There are those who think that Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), poses a pure heart.

In the past months, he has been swimming in an ocean of allegation and abuse, having been alleged of rape by Busola Dakolo, wife of musician, Timi Dakolo.

Maintaining his innocence, the stylish man was disowned by his spiritual fathers and mothers who had earlier vowed to stay with him through thick and thin.

However, the man found solace where many had least expected. A court quashed the allegation brought against him, citing the issue was status bared.

While there are those who hold the opinion that Fatoyinbo has only succeeded in deferring his day of judgment, there are those who maintain the man’s pure heart will continue to fight for him, as he continues with his ministry.

Alleged N209m Money Laundering: Again EFCC Drags 606 Auto Boss, Babafemi Sarumi To Court

The EFCC, Lagos office, on Thursday, November 14, 2019, re-arraigned Samusideen Babafemi Sarumi, owner of 606 Autos Limited, 606 Music Limited and Splash Off Entertainment Limited, before Justice Chuka Obiozor of the Federal High Court sitting at Ikoyi, Lagos on a three-count charge bordering on felony to commit money laundering and money laundering to the tune of N209million (Two Hundred and Nine Million Naira) only.

The defendant who was earlier arraigned by the EFCC, November 4, 2019 was alleged to have been involved in computer related fraud across the world.

He was also alleged to have taken possession of eight vehicles valued at N135 million and a Boat valued at N104 million, which were reasonably suspected to be part of proceeds of organized crimes across the world.
