Opeyemi Bamidele
Reactions have been pouring in since the news of Mr. Sesan Ogunro’s death hit town.
Reacting via a statement signed by Ahmed Salam, the Media Aide of Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, the House of Representatives member and Labour Party Governnorship aspirant in Ekiti State, expressed shock and sadness over the killing of Mr. Sesan Ogunro yesterday in Lagos.
The sudden death of Mr Ogunro, former Managing DIrector, Eminent Communications Limited and a distinguished Ekiti son came to me as a rude shock and am deeply pained and sorrowed at this sad news. I am very worried that such a vibrant and ebullient man could be cut down in his prime. The Federal Government should do everything possible to safeguard the lives and property of its people at all times.
The current security situation whereby innocent, hardworking Nigerians are being felled by bullets calls for concern and should be urgently addressed.
I commiserate with the government and good people of Ekiti State over this painful loss of our kinsman and pray God to console and comfort the families he has left behind.
May his kind soul rest in peace, amen.
