As Ooni Ogunwusi Turns 43
Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi added a year to his age on Tuesday, October 17.
The Ooni turned 43 years old on the face of the earth. However, his new age didn’t attract any major celebration.
Typically, he received congratulatory messages and gifts from family members, well-wishers, friends, associates and loved ones.
While the age is not of any landmark, many have said a mild celebration wouldn’t have been out of place.
However, that the celebration came at a point when the Ooni is just coming out of controversial times involving a dethroned Olori, and the search of a new one might justify the argument of those who hold the position of ‘no celebration is needed’.
Ooni Ogunwusi was born October 17, 1974.
