Celebrities in Nigeria have reacted to the arrest of fast-rising singers Omah Lay and Tems.
Recall that the duo had been arrested in Uganda for violating the country’s COVID-19 protocol. Reacting to the arrest and arraignment of the musicians, celebrities such as Burna Boy, Runtown, and Peter Okoye called for their release.
Other celebrities who also joined the call for the release of the duo included DJ Spinall, Tacha, Teni, Do2tun, Fireboy DML, Mr. Macaroni, and several others.
The celebrities took to their social media accounts to call for the immediate release of both Omah Lay and Tems.
