Singer, Dr. Sid has revealed that his loyalty to Don Jazzy exceeds the business connecting them.
Dr. Sid made this revelation during a recent interview. Asked if he was still signed to Mavin Records, the ‘Good Time’ singer revealed that his investment in the label goes beyond just being an artiste.
His word: “My loyalty and relationship with Don Jazzy is beyond the business.”
Dr. Sid also declared that his passion is what he wants to do with his music and not starting a record label.
“My career is fine, my business is being handled properly. I am not being cheated, I earned what I make because if I put out a single and it makes money, I get what I make, no issues. I understand the business module of a record label which is investing in you and needs to recoup its investment. With regards to my record label, I am fine; with regards to my contract, I am fine. In fact, I just signed a brand new contract for another four years. So, I am fine,” he said.
