That a prophet has no value in his own country is a very popular saying.
The saying is one which Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos can relate with.
How else does one explain the level of negative reactions that have greeted some of Primate Ayodele’s prophecies except via the saying?
Currently, the most prophetic man of God in the country, Primate Ayodele has recorded feats that some men of God can only dream of.
Via his annual compendium of prophecies, ‘Warnings To The Nations,’ he has revealed happenings to come both in Nigeria and other parts of the world, with at least one of his prophecies coming to pass every week.
This year alone, the man of God has proven his prophetic accuracy with several of his prophecies that have come to pass, including the recent crumbling of Nigeria’s economy.
Asides from his prophecies, he has also established himself as one of the biggest philanthropists in the country, giving out money to people of different backgrounds, and religions, in the process leaving many in tears of joy.
In recent times, Primate Ayodele has given out items worth several millions of Naira, while he has also put smiles on the faces of his church members via his empowerment programmes.
While these achievements remain unequaled, they have only been acknowledged by a hand full, confirming the position of the initial saying, “A prophet has no honour in his country.”
