On Tuesday, February 9, 2016, when Nelson turned 60, she was quoted saying that she was tired of partying, as she would celebrate her birthday by attending a church service at Archbishop Vining Memorial Church, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, for a thanksgiving ceremony. True to her words, the woman has not reduced her interest in the work of God.
