I never had any artiste on Alakpomeji Records-9ice
Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has revealed that he never had any artiste signed on Alakpomeji Record.
According to the artiste, “while growing up as a music act I had nobody or record label to assist me except a studio and I.D Cabasa, who was my producer.”
9ice, said having achieved greatness he setup Alakpomeji Record to provide a platform for artistes who found themselves in the same situation he found himself when he started music.
Furthermore, the artiste who came to limelight with the song “Gongo Aso”revealed that it was a misconception that he had artistes on the label as those associated with the Alapomeji Records only leveraged on the opportunity available.
9ice said he gave the artistes the opportunity so that someday they can also grow and help other aspiring musicians who need assistance.
