Classic Man singer, Jidenna has cleared the air on a statement he made concerning the security of Nigeria in 2010, saying he was never kidnapped in his life.
Speaking during his recent visit to Nigeria, Jidenna revisited the controversial statement, but insisted that it was a miscommunication.
According to the singer, he was speaking about a particular time in Nigeria and not the general security situation in the country.
Further, he said that then he felt bad that he came to bury his father and was still worried about his safety and the likelihood of being kidnapped.
Asked if he had been kidnapped before Jidenna said no, but insisted that members of his family had been.
Jidenna, who is currently promoting his debut album ‘All Hail The Chief’ revealed that although he had never been kidnapped, he was shot at the age of five.
