Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari has revealed his determination to end terrorism in Nigeria.

He stated this recently, assuring Nigerians home and abroad that his administration is resolved to protect them.

Speaking at a meeting with the Executive Committee members of the Nigerian Community in Ethiopia, Addis Ababa on Tuesday, February 11, Buhari said in addition to protecting Nigerians, his administration has also prioritised fighting corruption and bringing prosperity to Nigerians.

The president, his delegation and members of the Nigerian community in Ethiopia observed a minute of silence in honour of those who passed away in the attack. The honour was done to the victims before the commencement of the president’s meeting with Nigerians living in Ethiopia. The president had commiserated with the family of the victims in a statement released by his media aide, Garba Shehu on Sunday, Monday, February 10. The president assured them that his administration will continually frustrate the operations of terrorist group, Boko Haram, and bring it to an end.
