Sean Tizzle, Oritsefemi and Sheyman headlined the show when “Lock Down Nite with Naija Celebrities” celebrated its re-launch party.

The monthly celebrity club party held on Saturday, May 31, at Rumours Lounge GRA Ikeja Lagos.

Other artistes at the event included K Solo, Lace, Sagga Lee, Kzed, Hakym D Dream, and INK.

Comedian, Omo Baba No 1 and City FM presenter, K Show, will be hosted the show.

The party, made its debut in July, 2012 and held the first three editions at The Place Night Club, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, and subsequently relocated to Club Rumours on Oduduwa Way, GRA Ikeja, where three more editions held before the hiatus.

Lock down Nite has played host to quite a number of artistes including Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, Wande Coal and D Prince, KCee, Olamide, Flowssick, Jaywon, 2face Idibia, Vector, Chidima, Yaw, Gbenga Adeyinka, Elenu, Sound Sultan, V.I.P (Ghana), Dj Zeez, Brymo, Halle, Ink, Temisan, Reminisce, Tony Tetuila, Artquake, Fragrance, Jaywon, Koffi, Dammy Krane, Tunde Ednut, Orezi, Eldee D Don, Samklef, Orezi, LKT, Goldie , Terry D Rapman, General Pype, Kzeek , Sheyman, Saeon, Honey Bee, Zee, Terry Tha Rapman, General Pype, and several others with Omobaba No 1 (Fine Boy) as the regular host.

Sinzu Announces Plan To Drop Five Years Old Song

Nigerian rapper, Sinzu, is continuing his comeback to the music scene.

Following the release of his last body of work titled ‘Better Late Than Never’, he has maintained presence both on social media and the music scene.

He recently announced plans to drop a new single which was recorded in 2015.

In a tweet, Sinzu said: “I did a song in like 2015 that I haven’t dropped. I’m going to drop it now.”

Questions about Sinzu making it to the top of the Nigerian music industry have been asked.

The rapper left the industry in 2015 but has been trying to return since his release from jail over a credit card and identity fraud.

Breach Of Contract: Davido Supports Mayorkun

Davido Music Worldwide boss, David Adeleke popular as Davido has taken side with his artiste Mayorkun over an allegation of breach of contract.

Mayorkun had been booked to perform at a valentine show in Warri, Delta State, but failed to appear.

The musician’s action left a lot of his fans disappointed with organisers of the show infuriated.

When one of the organisers of the show took to Twitter to threaten the singer for not turning up at the show, asking that he makes a refund, he got a snide remark from Davido.

Mayorkun is presently one of the leading artistes on DMW and has been on a consistent rise in his music career for some time releasing single after single and selling out concerts. Aside from that, he shares a fond relationship with Davido

Wande Coal’s Comeback Inches Closer

Absent of a body of work for five years, Wande Coal’s return to the music scene is inching closer.

The artiste, who is known for hit songs such as ‘Baby Hello’, ‘Bumper To Bumper’, ‘Ololufe’ and others will make a big return in weeks via an EP ‘Realms’.

Realms will be Wande Coal’s debut under Screwface’s Starstruck Management and indie distributor, Empire.

Five-track Realms is a collaboration of talented producers including Sarz, London’s Lekaa Beats and Melvitto who produced ‘Again’ with Screwface.

Melvitto and Wande started working together after his single ‘Iskaba’ and have maintained an understanding.
