Thespian, Halima Abubakar, who turned a year older weeks back has revealed how she celebrates her birthday.
Speaking exclusively to www.theoctopusnews.com, the actress revealed that unlike other people who go to orphanages with a pack of Indomie Noodles and a bag of rice, she goes with lorry full of food stuffs.
In her word, “I take a lorry of food. I don’t take Rice alone, I take tubers of Yam of over 40 pieces, I take Groundnut oil of 10 and palm oil of about five. So, I don’t think that there is anybody who gives that much to just one foundation, it was Laja Adedoyin’s Heart of Gold.”
She goes on to say that “you won’t see me with Indomie Noodles except if the company wants to donate. Children should eat other food aside noodles,” she added.
The thespian turned 33 years old on Tuesday, June 12, but didn’t celebrate because she was on a location. She however planned a programme to empower and assist some widows, as part of her 2018 birthday celebration. According to her, it’s all about giving to humanity.
