Thespian, Halima Abubakar, has taken a bow from the movie industry which brought her fame and fortune.
The announcement of her exit from the industry was announced by her management in a short announcement posted on her Instagram page on Monday, October 17th, 2022.
“HALIMA ABUBAKAR QUIT ACTING. Rejuvenate and continue healing. We all love you. My sweet sis. We are waiting for you diva,” the statement read.
Recall that the actress made her debut in the movie scene in 2001, when she debuted in “Rejected”, playing a cameo role.
However, her first lead role was in “Gangster Paradise“, after which she went on to feature in countless movies.
Aside acting, Abubakar has business interest in Modehouse Entertainment, a music label and entertainment management company where she is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Thefamousnaija.com, a news platform quoted a certain Dr. Ene Innocent as saying that the thespian has a condition described as autoimmune. It is believed that the condition might have worsened, forcing the actress to leave the acting profession.
