The last has not been heard of the face-off between Halima Abubakar and Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Mininstry International.
Following the actress’s claim that he slept with her and other actresses in Nollywood, the Apostle of God wrote the actress through his lawyers, Ephesis Lex Attorneys & Solicitors accusing her of defamation, blackmail and publishing demeaning statements about him.
The letter reads in part; “It is our brief that you caused to be published malicious, defamatory and demeaning statements about our client in several micro-blog sites, chiefly Gistlover, and your Instagram handle Halima Abubakar, which have wider reach within Nigeria and the world.”
“These statements, made by you, knowing fully well that they are false, untrue, malicious, defamatory, baseless, and a tool of blackmail of our client, impugn the reputation of our client and reduce him in the eyes of responsible and right thinking members of the society.”
Rather than be humbled by the letter, Abubakar has decided to dare the man of God.
Responding to the suit via her Instagram story, Abubakar dared the man of God, writing;“JS, See you at the court.”
