Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has welcomed her first child with her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa.
The gospel artiste welcomed her baby almost a year after she got married.
The singer got married in a church ceremony in August 2022; after celebrating a traditional marriage in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital on 13th August 2022.
Though the singer and her husband had been quiet since her pregnancy, the news of her childbirth was insinuated by Pastor Uzochikwa when he took to his social media handle to announce he had a testimony he could help but share.
With his post and knowledge that his wife was pregnant, it wasn’t hard for their fans and followers to deduce that his wife had put to bed.
The gospel singer also gave a pointer to the fact that she had given birth with the release of a new single titled “You Do This One”.
A photo of her cradling her baby bump was the cover art for the new single.
Though unconfirmed, there are speculation that she welcomed a baby boy.
