Five Star Music has finally cut Harrysong loose.
According to the singer, the label cancelled all of his contractual obligations and encouraged him to promote his label Alterplate during a dinner which held recently.
Speaking during a chat, Harrysong said “I am running Alterplate now. They have given me their blessings and asked me to be free to run Alterplate. I am going to re-launch Alterplate maybe in the next two weeks, we are working towards it. We reached this agreement two weeks ago during a dinner. I have great respect for them, for them to have done what they did to me to bless my company and say I’m free to go and run my Alterplate, they’re good people. Both families are okay now.”

Prior to now, Harrysong had had a messy confrontation with Five Star Music over his contract. While he maintained that he had seen out his contract, his label owners contradicted him. The disagreement saw him and his manager Desmond Ike being detained for a while before Harrysong returned to the label.

As it is, it appears that issues have finally been resolved amicably.
