Four Arrested For Stealing Armoured Cables In Edo

Four persons have been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for stealing armoured cables in Ujagbolo community in Esan Central LGA of the state.

The suspects include Monday Iriah, James Akagbe, Jesubu Ogbesia and Mustapha Suleman.

They were arrested after the DPO of Irua received information that hoodlums vandalised Benin Electricity Distribution Company’s (BEDC’s) transformer in Ujagbolo and stole its armoured cable.

Edo Police Command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, said they will be arraigned in court after investigation has been concluded.
