The government of Nigeria has approved the extradition of the suspended Commander of the Police Intelligence Response Team, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
Kyari’s extradition request by the United States of America has been pending for several months after the police officer was implicated in a fraud case involving popular socialite, Abass Ramon popular as Hushpupi.
The US had requested that Kyari should be extradited over alleged $1.1million wire fraud involving Hushpuppi and four others.
Recall that Kyari was recently arrested following an allegation of his involvement in a drug syndicate.
