A lot of people are aware of this postulation. However, it appears unknown to the majority leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
During the election of the officers of the 8th House of Representative, Gbajabiamila went through the deep blue sea to become the Speaker of the house to no avail. Then, he had to settle for a lesser office, as Yakubu Dogara eventually emerged the Speaker.
In the road to the 9th House of Representatives, Gbajabiamila is currently in a dog fight to emerge the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Though recently getting the endorsement of about 100 members, it is yet unknown if he will be able to achieve his dream. However, if he is not, his would be an uncanny fate.
Gbajabiamila is currently contending with the likes of Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Hon. Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas and Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu, for the exalted position.
