Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the attack on the medium federal correctional center in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Fani-Kayode condemned the attack on the facility located on the Kabba- Lokoja highway on Sunday night through Monday morning, September 13.
Recall that some unknown gunmen attacked the facility, killing two soldiers, and injuring many persons, while also releasing over 200 inmates.
Reacting to the incident on his Instagram page, Fani-Kayode, a strong associate of the state governor, Yahaya Bello, alleged that some persons who are out to discredit the governor are behind the attack.
He wrote:
”The prison break & murder of security men in Kogi was contrived. It is a similar plot to the EFCC one. Those behind it need to know that when God is with someone nothing can stop him. Trying to undermine & discredit Yahaya cannot work. Those behind it will hear from us soon.”
