The GYB2PYB Youth Support Group has described Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode as an asset to the country.

The group made the declaration while reacting to media speculations that Fani-Kayode is heading to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement released on Tuesday, February 9, the youth group also expressed solidarity with Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State who is rumoured to be the arrow-head of Fani-Kayode’s return to the ruling party.

GYB2PYB Youth Support Group, Ambassador Oladele John Nihi congratulated the leadership of the APC, Governor Bello, and all party’s stakeholders, for demonstrating to the world how progressive the party is.

Ambassador Nihi said: “Having the likes of Femi Fani-Kayode in the APC is not only a plus, but a vivid demonstration of the true commitment of the party’s leadership that the APC is home for all.

“The desire to achieving a new Nigeria is a collective effort and for a sea to guarantee smooth sailing, proper dredging is required.

“The APC has shown to Nigerians both home and abroad, that there is room for everyone willing to contribute meaningfully to the development of our dear nation.

“As the party’s mobiliser; Governor Yahaya Bello has shown great capacity in a short period of time that, the confidence impose on him by the party is worthwhile. Truly a leader of our generation is here!”

Recall that after his photos with Governors Bello and Mai Bala Buni of Yobe State surfaced on social media, Fani-Kayode explained why he met the duo. According to him, he met them to discuss the state of the nation, national issues, party politics, and the way forward for Nigeria.
